Hey guys,

I was looking around for a customizable back-lit mechanical keyboard and stumbled apon this site: http://www.maxkeyboard.com/

I've never heard of them before so I wanted to ask the best forum in the world if anyone had bought form then or used one of their keyboards. Would especially like to hear from anyone in Canada.

Anyway: are they hassle-free? is shipping reasonable? How is build quality?

Thanks

I got a nighthawk x8 from them and I have no complaints. I've compared it with a friend's Corsair K70 and feel they're not behind in construction quality either.

The customizability they offer really sets them apart, if you've never seen some of the custom keyboards they've done before check their facebook page:

They'll even go as far as mixing different switches if you want (and pay) them to.

I'm mostly comparing them to WASD Keyboards, which also offer customization (and a much nicer interface for ordering) but they do not offer back-lighting, which makes me lean towards Max. Do the Nighthawk's have a braided or regular cable btw?
