Laptop upgradeability

Hello! 

Looking to get a laptop to last me through the next 4-6 years of college/university and want something that is upgradeable with RAM, storage, and potentially CPU down the road. Does anyone have a brand or line that fits this criteria best? I've noticed gaming laptops seem to have the best room for potential growth.

Where are you from? Budget? Any preference on weight and battery life?

In terms of reliability, premium business laptops / mobile workstations are the only options
