Need advice for cooling my RIG and case fans

DG Result

Hello everyone !

I made a thread a couple of days ago asking about some good case fans.

Now I need overall advice about my idea to keep my temperatures low during the summer.

I will start with my rig.

I have a Segotep Legend C2 case

Segotep Legend C2 top viewInside the case i have:

Motherboard: Asus Prime m320k

GPU: PNY GTX 1060 6gb

CPU: AMD Ryzen 2600x

RAM: 2x8GB corsairs Value select

PSU: Cougar STX 750W

I have 2 case fans in the front of the case:

The lower one in a fan that came with the case

the other fan is a Be Quiet Pure wings 2 pwm (I got that one because I didnt know what to do and I went with the first recomendation)

On the back I have one exhaust fan that came with the case and one fan on the top rear that is a Deep Cool Xfan 120 red led.

Now I am writing this thread because I need advice about what to do next.

So what I want to do is to add more fans and decrease GPU and CPU temperatures/

On full load my GPU goes to 77c and my CPU goes to around 65-70. I know this is normal but I still want to improve cooling and noise levels of my PC.

I have an idea of placing 2 new fans on the top of the case that will act as exhaust fans with low noise levels. So I am looking for good recomendations on red led fans that will do the job. I was looking at the Xigmatek Solar eclipse II but another user on the forum said that it is not a good fan and that I need a good exhaust fan on the back of the case that will force the hot air out and get noisy when it has to.

Which brings my to the second thing I need a good recomendation with: A good 4 pin exhaust fan for the back of the case that i can control with my motherboard fan controler.

The idea is to keep the red aesthetic of the case and the fans while keeping temps and noise as low as possible.

I thing 3 exhaust fans will do good but I want to see your opinions.

If they're anything like the original Vortex's, they should be pretty quiet.

I haven't seen in-depth reviews on the Vortex FR's but they seem similar to the original Vortex fans which are great. http://computer-store.bg/ventilatori-ohlazhdania/cougar-vortex-fr-120-red-led

Reviews from newegg / amazon and of the similar Vortex RGB seem to indicate that they're similar if not nearly identical but with slightly shorter blades and a lower rpm range.

So you are saying that I should use them on top od the case?

What about the exhaust?

I was looking at a fan from noctua but I dont remember the exact name

I previously recommended a NF-S12B for rear exhaust.

That would already be plenty for cooling but you're the one who wanted to add red led fans at the top for looks. The top should be used as exhaust if you are adding fans there. Alternatively, you could just leave it empty.

Does it matter if I use fans for airflow or pressure on top of the case for exhaust?

Should I move my be quiet pure wings 2 there and add another one next to it?

They are for airflow and they dont make much noise.

PW2's would probably be better suited at the rear or top as exhaust as opposed to at the front for intake.

I just looked at the specs for the Noctua NF S12B and that thing has Insane airflow

How is that even possible at 1200 RPM? Im seriously thinking about buying it !
