Hello there, so I'll be able to get a new gpu around mid-june, budget by then will be around 350$

so I was going for the rtx 2060, then i read that it has features that I won't be using therefore it's a waste of money, and that I should get the 1660ti.

But i think the 1660ti will fall short, I would like to play in medium settings , even low if the game is "too AAA" but at constant 144fps

my current setup is

8600k @4.8

2x8gb 2400

z370 mobo

550psu

1060 6gb (this i'll be selling)

so my question is should I go for the 2060 or 1660ti? or should I wait till AMD releases his next gen of gpus since I wont be getting it till mid june.

2060 is the way to go for 144hz 1080p. Some people will tell you to buy used and look for 1070ti but it's up to you if you want to buy used or new. I'd personally go new and the 2060 route.

You could go for the RX Vega 56. As powerful as the RTX 2060. About the same price I believe

thing is i have a corsair vs 550, so its not that good, and vega 56 ask for 650, i think the psu will fall short

It's pointless to ask now. The market changes rapidly.
