I have an XFX Rx 580 that is being really weird. Hoped someone might shed some light or think of something I may be forgetting, as I am beating my head against a wall. To start I have tested with 5 systems:
  1. Asus Z390-I cpu 9900k EVGA 850PSU Supernova T2
  2. Asus Z270E cpu 8700K EVGA 850PSU Supernova PQ
  3. Asus Z170 s cpu 6700k EVGA 850PSU Supernova GQ
  4. Msi X58 pro-e 980x EVGA 850PSU Supernova T2
  5. Msi B450 R7 2700 EVGA 850PSU Supernova GQ
All have the current windows pro version, all have the latest AMD 19.4.3 software. The GDDR5 memory on the RX 580 is micron and all systems were also tested with an XFX RX 570 with Elipida memory. The benchmarks I pulled from here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-categories/benchmarks-demos.html . I used the Monster Hunter and Unigine heaven and FFXV. Now on to the issue, the RX 580 causes a black screen, the monitor loses connection or freezes on every benchmark. Sometimes it's immediate, other times after a minute or two on all the above systems except for the X58 and The B450!! At this point I have tried locking frame rates and tried display port, HDMI and 5 different monitors. The 570 runs fine on all no issues and the 580 id flawless on the X58 and B450! Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I will have to check that out and. I just assumed that because the radeon software, msi afterburner and riva tuner were reporting the card correctly, that the drivers were fine.
