Gestures in Brave

Hello, coming from the Opera Browser, it is really convenient being able to use mouse gestures.
To get gestures on the Brave Browser I used CrxMouse, but there are a few problems with this. It doesn't allow the use of gestures on Chrome's built-in pages because of Google's security restrictions.

 

This means that one cannot use gestures on the new tab page (as well as many more).

Is there a work around for this?

Brave uses the Chrome kernal. It does NOT use Google Chrome.

The restrictions are still there though and it is very unfortunate.

Theoretically, if there is a workaround for this on any chromium based browser, it should work here as well, I just cannot find it..
