Help With Optiplex 320

Hi so I have a Dell Optiplex 320(the slim version)That I'm trying to upgrade to 4GB of Ram,but when I insert the two sticks the computer neither posts nor does it boot,All help is appreciated :)

Ok, so first make sure you have a compatible ram stick. Same speed and generation (aka a DDR3- 1600mhz will not go with a DDR2 - 1xxxhz). Also, make sure that the new stick actually works, test by putting the new stick in the system alone.

According to this doc the machine expects 4GB (max) of DDR2-533mHz.

Some OEM systems can be picky about what DIMMs they do and do not support, so you may have to buy "Dell" RAM.
