If I'm not mistaken that is the Sprint model, which should have received the update last month. You can look into flashing the binary manually through Odin, but that may require a factory reset iirc.

 

Fyi, I updated my Note 8 to Android Pie and it blows ass. Already went back to Oreo.

It was many minor inconveniences that turned me off. For example, the double-tap to hide the nav bar button on the bottom left has been removed. You either always have the nav bar showing, or switch to gesture navigation (which I tried and hated). There's also a floating button that appears when you rotate the device, select it will enable/disable locked rotation. It served me no purpose but I managed to accidentally bump it multiple times. I also had issues with scrolling on certain apps, such as NFL Mobile among other issues.

 

Not saying you shouldn't update, but I personally don't like Pie.
