Abnormal ram x79

Go to solution Solved by T0MMEN,

Found the problem, the cpu mount wasnt tight enough. I reseated the cpu and thightened every mount and the cooler. Works now, but only on 2red and 2black.

As you can ser in the picture. All the ram is correctly installed. But the motherboard only recongizes dimm b1, rest is abnormal. Ive tried 3 different ram kits. Same story. Ive tried resetting cmos and updating bios. Help. Asus rampage IV extreme mobo. Corsair xms3 12gb kit.

Help

Had a similar problem yesterday. Try using one stick at a time in case there's any faulty modules. And try reseating the RAM (making sure to clean the contacts a bit).
