FX-8350 hot fix?

Go to solution Solved by Priller,

It was already rolled into an update for Windows 7

Hi guys

I know that these are quite old hot fixes but I've only just discovered them and just wondering if they actually increase performance by a lot? I've heard some good and bad things, those with first hand experience would be helpful :) thanks!

Not sure. I was looking into it and I remember it being said that it was rolled into a Windows update. The hotfix was just for a quick fix until an update rolled out.

Oh ok, and by the way I used to have a 4170, and for some reason there was a program called AMD - dual core optimiser or something and it's still there with my 8350, should I keep it or?

I would see what it is first and do some research on it to see if you still need it for a program etc.
