What cooler, and motherboard?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

The kraken is good but high quality air coolers are a more economical option. Have you decided against large air coolers or would you consider something like the dark rock pro 4?

Well if that's the case then the kraken will serve you well, it's just and large.

Should go well with it, the airflow is decent but not amazing so expect it to impact temps a bit.

How come? If you get a bad AIO with a leak or broken/noisy pump, you'll hate those more.

You'll see like a roughly 15% improvement, I'd recommend shooting for 4.7 or so though. You give up ~5% but since temps and voltage tend to rise exponentially it'll be better for the cpu and your ears. Anyway good luck whichever way you go
