I recently purchased another stick of RAM (hoping it would solve my issue). It has fixed some of the stuttering I was getting e.g GTA now runs fine however an underwhelming FPS on very high with motion blur off FXAA off TAA off - GPU usage around 75% with V sync off. Previously BF1 was unplayable however now it is playable with V sync on however when turned off I get lots of stuttering and my GPU usage is at like 60% and FPS at 90 (with to much stuttering to play). In rainbow on ultra preset I get like 160fps but my GPU usage is at like 75%. Ravenfield is unplayable as my GPU and CPU are at around 25% no matter how many bots and with anything over 100 drops below 60. My CPU is at 4 ghz now and even after getting the new RAM stick other than a small bit of stuttering being solved hasn’t really changed anything. All my temps are okay and I am very confused as to why my usage is low when I’m getting below 60 in some titles e.g GTA 5 and ravenfield. What could be causing this?? Thanks in advance to anybody that responds.

CPU - Ryzen 5 1600x (4.0ghz)

GPU - EVGA RTX 2060

RAM - Corsair Vengence LPX (3000mhz)

HDD - Seagate Barracuda (2TB)

CPU Cooler - GAMMAX 400

MOBO - MSI B350 PC mate

I am by no means an expert. I'm assuming you're OCing the 1600x to achieve 4.0ghz

Have you tried running things at a stock setting on your CPU without altering the stock power consumption at all?

I can't help but wonder if it's a failure to deliver enough power to the GPU due to overloading VRMs or something in that realm.

The 1600x shouldn't have to be OCed to pair with the 2060, so I'd try it stock settings and see what you get.

It doesn't show the CPU at 100% while the GPU is at lower usage, does it? Because that could indicate a bottleneck. I doubt this is the case.

I only recently overclocked it but it made no difference compared to stock. When I got my RAM I had to reset my CMOS anyways and all I changed was my RAM XMP profiles.

Could you link your MOBO? I'm not familiar with the PC Mate

Just looking it appears to have plenty of power distribution capability... So I think that cuts down my idea there.

To confirm, does the CPU show 100% usage while the GPU is showing less? Or are they both lower usage?
