I installed a GPU today (MSI RX 480 04GB) and after installing and downloading latest drivers from AMDs site I am getting what I think is input lag. My mouse curser sometimes lags behind my movement (or just freezes altogether) and when I type on my keyboard it takes the monitor a minute to show what I am typing. Any idea what is going on? Is this a setting somewhere, bad card...?? My mouse and keyboard are wireless, bluetooth, and both have fresh batteries.

Edit to add: Mouse curser freezes for a long while if I try to move it right after opening a web browser or calculator etc...it's almost like the curser and mouse have to stop and think with input.

System specs are as follows:

  1. GIGABYTE GA-Z170N-WIFI (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
  2. Intel Core i5-6500 Skylake Quad-Core 3.2 GHz LGA 1151 65W BX80662I56500 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530
  3. HyperX Fury 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 2133MHz DRAM (Desktop Memory) CL14 1.2V DIMM (288-pin) HX421C14FB2K2/16 (Intel XMP, AMD Ryzen)
  4. Running windows 10 pro 64 bit
  5. Dual Asus 27" monitors

System worked fine prior to installing GPU.
