Ps4 help needed...

So my PS4 recently decided that it doesn’t want to start. I researched the topic and supposedly all of my data is now gone. If I buy a case to use the drive as an external drive could I get my save data off of it?

You should be able to directly connect your ps4 drive to your pc

Ok, well thanks anyways. I’m gonna try cloning the drive and reformatting the original. We'll see how it goes...

I pulled the hard drive out, it’s sitting until I can get a drive big enough to clone it. Once I do, I’ll try that, wipe the original drive and pop back in the old one once I clone it back.
