Hello everyone, I am trying to update my BIOS to the current one on the Asus website. But it says something about downloading the ME update tool and stuff involving that and im completely confused about it. What should i download first? The Bios update or the ME update tool or the chipset driver? What order should i update drivers in? Please help and any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time.

Just did that actually, you need to download the newest Intel Management Engine Interface from ASUS first, go into Driver & Tools and it should be under Chipset, after you're done installing that, Then download and extract the ME update zip file and open MEupdater or something like that.

I know this is an old post but I'm just getting around to addressing this and finding it extremely frustrating.

I've downloaded the Intel ME file and executed it. All that happens is an item appears on the taskbar with the name "Window Dialog".2021-05-13_195256.jpg.f5908e93cb8846ad0bfe5c5f51a00e10.jpg

I can't do anything with it, so I'm dead in the water.

Anyone have any ideas?

P.S.: I've tried safe mode also with no joy.
