Hiya guys, I really can't seem to find any issue similar to this online, but my monitor - an Asus IPS (VC239H) - has had some really odd burn in issues. They started about a month ago after I came back from a week-long holiday, in which no one would've touched it (I really doubt anyone did) and it was just a small portion (about 1/5) of the left side of my monitor having a slight red tint and had the windows lock screen clock burnt onto it. The PC definitely had not been on whilst I was away, so this had burnt on in about the 10 mins since I had turned my PC on, and then gone to use it after getting food. I ran a few of those burn in fixer videos through it and it had gone in about 1/2 an hour. Things now burn into the monitor in about 5 mins, for example, if I play one game of Apex Legends, the health bars will be burnt onto the screen, and there's a slight red tint to the side of the monitor too. Moreover, when I look at the monitor, on the affected side it looks like there's a grid separating the pixels almost, and a slight scan effect going down the screen really quickly. The problem also seems to be spreading, it is now about 1/3 of my monitor affected. Like I said I couldn't see anyone else with this issue in any reviews with this monitor or any other IPS panel, and it seems to have happened randomly. Anyone have any idea what's wrong with it, and either how to fix it or at least negate it a little?

Thanks in advanced, Cal
