according to deepcool official price, $52 is a bit too high for a chinese brand, should be down to $40

you can also choose rgb version of the case so you dont need extra fans

Wifi built-in the motherboard and it's within the same price point as before so you don't need a network card, RGB fans included in the case, better priced RAM sticks, and fully modular PSU with better price than the Corsair one.

Thermaltake does not have a reputation for excellent psu. Seasonic and Corsair models are available at reasonably competitive prices. At the moment the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 850W is available at the same price as the 750W model. While a bit more than the Thermaltake, I suspect they are of much higher quality. The RMx and Focus Plus Gold models have 10 year warranties, are fully modular and while not strictly necessary for motherboard operation, include sufficient connectors to provide power to both the 8-pin and 4-pin power connectors.

But I still want to be able to have enough cooling for over clocking. That’s why I put the liquid cooler AIO. But doesn’t the case come with pre installed rob fans though?

As I said, the case does not come with any fans. Look it up.

The stock cooler will give you a bit of overclocking. You can always add a better cooler down the road should it prove necessary.

If you must have a better cpu cooler immediately, change out the RGB fans for inexpensive (~$10 ea) unlit fans and use the savings to get something like a Cryorig H5 Universal.

I’m trying to stick with the 2700X. But everything else seems okay. But are you sure 550w will not hurt any components?

The 2700x is just an overclocked 2700 with a better cooler, which are both moot with the AIO and if you oc.

You don't need a $150 cooler for a 2600X. You would be better off going with the R5 2600 and a cheaper cooler such as the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO. You could fit an RTX 2070 in there that way.

You can overclock the 2700 to more or less match a 2700X.

550W, especially with a gold rated PSU from a good brand like Corsair, will be fine for the build.

IIRC the case Herman selected for their suggestion includes two huge RGB front-facing fans, so you can dump the extra RGB fans for unlit fans to save some cash.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

Peripherals - Corsair K70 Lux RGB | Corsair Scimitar RGB | Audio-technica ATH M50X + Antlion Modmic 5 |

CPU/GPU history: Athlon 6000+/HD4850 > i7 2600k/GTX 580, R9 390, R9 Fury > i7 7700K/R9 Fury, 1080TI > Ryzen 1700/1080TI > i7 9700K/1080TI.

Other tech: Surface Pro 4 (i5/128GB), Lenovo Ideapad Y510P w/ Kali, OnePlus 6T (8G/128G), PS4 Slim.

Since the R5 2600 is a slightly better value, I did a few things. I put some cheaper stuff on and upgraded the GPU because it was a better value. I changed up a quite bit of things, but hopefully it’s fine. But here it is:
