MSI x470 Build Question

Thinking about doing a build with my mobo being a MSI x470, a Ryzen 7 2700x, and a Gigabyte Windforce 1080. Would the mobo be good enough for the other parts? Also, would this be likely to overheat?

Depends what board it is

For overheating, it depends what case, what cooler, how many fans and in what direction etc.

Current x470 boards are looking pretty overpriced to me tbh, I would actually suggest going with a x370 board so that way you can grab a better board that has good enough VRM components to sustain a 2700x.

AMD Wraith Cooler with like 3 fans and the board is a MSI x470 gaming plus

Uhhhh..... I dunno about that one chief, asrock boards are actually notorious for having finicky bio's, and the master sli in general is pretty bad. I still vote for using a much better x370 board like the one that I listed above
