My processor is the 7700HQ

I downloaded intel XTU to do some undervolting. Before I changed anything, I immediately noticed that upon installing XTU, intel turbo boost got shut off. Before, my cpu would throttle between 1.2-3.8 ghz depending on the load and the temperatures, and under sustained load the frequency would decrease to the 2.8 ghz base frequency as temperatures rose and then it would hold steady there. Now the cpu is just locked at 2.8 ghz regardless of temperature or load. I noticed that in XTU, the "Intel Turbo Boost Technology" is set to disabled and the option is grayed out.

I searched the internet and couldn't find anyone with this problem. pls help! I want it back on!

Edit: It just turned itself back on. IDK.
