NVCP HD or PC?

Go to solution Solved by Glenwing,

Use the PC mode

Been using a new monitor - (https://www.scan.co.uk/products/24-lg-24gm79g-b-monitor-144hz-1920x1080-amd-freesync-1ms-350cd-m-vesa-displayport-hdmi-usb-30) Connected with a DP. I looked in NVCP and ive been using PC 1920x1080 144hz. I scrolled up and saw that it's saying my native is Ultra HD, HD, SD - 1080p, 1920x1080(native) but the max is 120hz. Also - when I swap to it, it makes the colour dim until I increase the brightness and contrast to 100 on the monitor colour settings. When I change back to PC 1920x1080 144hz with the brightness/contrast up its so bright it hurts my eyes. So what I'm wanting to know - what resolution should I be using? does it even matter?

Thanks in advance.
