Chrome Randomly Started Lagging

For a few days now, all of a sudden I'm getting a lot of lag on Chrome. Right now it appears to only affect when I type anything in the search bar and several different sites, but not all sites. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Probably the new Windows 10 update. My computer's been hella slow lately (it lags with typing).

I didn't upgrade Windows before it started happening though, and I don't have issues with anything else.

Having you tried reinstalling Chrome? Maybe it's caused by an extension or application that you downloaded?

I have just reinstalled it, as I had to format my entire drive.
