Low FPS on Arma 3?

nath10597

I'm having a problem when playing Arma 3 my CPU and GPU never go above 40% while i'm playing but my FPS is 15-30 FPS iv' logged in ounce and got a solid 30 and it was playable and now i've logged in and getting a solid 15. I've looked around and someone said add "-noSplash -cpuCount=8 -high" to my steam set launch options but that hasn't helped that much.

Specs:

  • CPU
    AMD FX 8350
  • Motherboard
    Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
  • RAM
    G-Skill 2133 Mhz 8GB
  • GPU
Asus Direct CU II GTX 770
  • Case
    Fractel Define R4
  • Storage
    120 GB OCZ Agility SSD + 1TB and 2TB Seagete Barakuda's
  • PSU
    Corsair TX750M

Whatever graphics settings i use i get the same FPS.

put -cpuCount=8 -high -maxMem=(your memory in MB) as your steam launch options

also try lowering some settings in the rendering part of the video settings.

(I own an FX 8320)

average fps on altis benchmark was 30 for me

fx 8320 @ 4.0ghz and R9 290

settings all highest setting (turned blur/dof down to 40% (shouldn't impact fps)) except supersampling is at 150% and view distance/object distance at 3000

what motherboard do you have
