Heya everyone,

So I'm currently running 32 GB of ram on my system - Intel i7 8700K, with a Maximus XI MOBO I believe, and running an Asus GTX 1070 8GB OC. My Ram is the G.Skill Trident RGB, but the clock speed is at 2933 which I got because I used to have a Ryzen system, and that was back when memory was finicky with the system. I switched to Intel again, but I have noticed some weird things about the system overall. I used to have a 16 GB of Corsair Vengeance White RAM, 3200 clock speed, and back then, everything worked perfectly - I could easily transition between windows, etc. and ever since I transitioned to this RAM, whenever, for example, League is loading, my voice becomes robotic and everything slows down a bit, enough to be noticeable and be an issue. I just needed some help figuring out if it's just based off the clock speed of the RAM? I was debating getting a higher clock speed for it but I wanted to be sure that that's the actual issue before jumping the gun and buying a whole new set of 32 GB ram from them. Any help is appreciated - thank you!

Try using the old set of 3200 that you mentioned, and a slower set if you have one. Also, make sure that all your drivers are up to date.

So update drivers for the RAM/BIOS and/or try the old set of ram to see if it makes a difference?
