Hi All,

I recently purchased all new hardware and was initially excited to get it all set up. Everything else went smoothly it boots fine but whatever reason my Rog Strix Z390-F motherboard network adapter driver just will not install. The port displays a blinking amber LED and the adapter is enabled in bios. I have tried installing the intel drivers, drivers from the ASUS cd and also from the ASUS website and none will work. I just get "windows encountered a problem installing the device" or code 10 the device could not be started. I have tried Windows 10 , 10240, 1803 and 1809 the same issue occurs. I have installed the chipset drivers first on all occasions. I have reinstalled windows about 5 times using different methods (CD,USB) and all out of ideas. I have tried installing the drivers via device manager and the packaged installer with no luck. Event viewer states the following error but I have updated the driver multiple times.

Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (7) I219-V

PROBLEM: Unable to start the network adapter.

ACTION: Install the latest driver from "http://www.intel.com/support/go/network/adapter/home.htm".

I have tried contacting ASUS but the support is only Mon-Fri so any help would be greatly appreciated.
