I5 3570k bottleneck

I am wanting to upgrade my GPU to the 1660ti. Would my 3570k bottleneck that and by how much? (I'm playing games at 1080p)

Depends on the game and if you’re the type to cap frames.

I currently have a 3570k paired with a GTX 970 FTW and it is absolutely a bottleneck. New games like APEX, R6 Siege, Tomb Raider, and Black Ops 4 all push my CPU to ~ 55% - 70% use under heave loads (so mostly during combat when graphics tend to get intense). I am currently working on building my next PC to pair with an RTX 2070.

Yes it will but if you OC it will still work fine for most game. A cpu upgrade is what i think you should do soon .
