I have a

Ryzen 3 2200g

Aorus b450m

2x4gb 2133mhz corsair vengeance

Vs550 corsair psu

Gtx1050ti

Thinking on what should i upgrade next.

Should i go for 2x8gb 3200mhz? Or 2xgb 2400mhz some people say its not worth going for 3000 3200mhz.

Or should i go for ryzen 5 2400g

Just remember. Ryzen favors ram speed.

Not sure about you but I think my 7 year old CPU still rips

Check your motherboard's QVL list (should be in the manufacturer's website). I wouldn't go higher than 3000-3200MHz as most of the time getting those to work in AMD setups can be quite difficult, especially with lower end CPUs. As long as you get  akit that is in your board's list, it should work perfectly.

A nice set of 2x8GB will be more than adequate and would migrate well when you choose to upgrade CPU or platform.

Primary Rig:

CPU: AMD 7800X3D @ Stock PBO - Mobo: Gigabyte X670E AORUS Master

2 x 48GB G.Skill Trident Z Royal 6400MHz CL32 1.35V @ 6200MHz CL28-37-32-30 1.5V (still tuning)

CPU Cooler: EK AIO that will be being replaced when I get the chance - PSU: eVGA P2 1200W

GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC @ either 2595MHz @ 900mV or 2970MHz @ 1070mV

Case: Thermaltake View 91 - SSDs/HDDs: 1 Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, 2 990 Pro 2TB M.2s, 1 990 Pro 4TB M.2, 1 TeamGroup Cardea Z440 2TB M.2, 1 Seagate EXO X10 10TB HDD

Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G9 49" Super-Ultrawide 240Hz Monitor

This is what was put on my motherboards description

  1. Support for DDR4 3200(O.C.)/2933/2667/2400/2133 MHz memory modules

Does this mean it will support 3200? Or it will. Support overclock to 3200hz..

So i shouls just get a 2400mhz one?

That's not what I'm talking about. On the support page there should be a memory QVL, that's the list you want to buy from.

Example, mine can be found here: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/Z390-AORUS-MASTER-rev-10#support-DL under support lists.

Ok. But that was still a question

  1. Support for DDR4 3200(O.C.)/2933/2667/2400/2133 MHz memory module

Does this mean my board compatibke with 3200mhz?

If it's a 3200MHz RAM set that is on the QVL, then yes, it should be perfectly compatible.  I'm fairly certain the issue will be the memory controller wanting to run that speed on the lower end chips.  I'm not familiar enough with Ryzen to really comment for sure, but I have heard a lot of them do not like RAM running at higher than ~3000MHz on DOCP/XMP settings, as in you would need more voltage than stock on the sticks and/or memory controller settings.
