I have all my AC games on steam, but I've always wondered why uplay was neccessary. It's not that big of a deal for me anymore, but does origin do the same thing? Or does it load straight into the game from origin? Because if it does, i'm buying all ubisoft games on origin now.

Don't buy anything you don't have to from Origin!

Now why would I not buy from origin.... origin is a great software. Steam is nice and simple, nothing wrong with it. Same for origin, nothing wrong with it. I don't really have a problem with uplay either, it just annoys me that I have to press play on steam and then press play again on uplay.

I've had problems buy things from Origin before and they constantly have server problems.

As a person who never had any problems with origin (after origin beta atleast), I actually want to know what kind of problems there are. I'm not aware of anything being wrong with origin, it functions properly and smoothly for me. Although I only have crysis and battlefield games on it.

I only have BF3, BF4, and a ton of games I got for free from friends.
