Airpods for pc

i'm thinking of getting a bluetooth adapter to pair my airpods so i can use it as a mic in Windows 10 pc tower. this is the said dongle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009ZIILLI/ref=psdc_3015437011_t2_B0775YF36R

 

but i am wondering if it will work, particularly the mic. anyone tried this?

I have the Samsung wireless earbuds and I can connect so I see no reason you could not. I say give it a try.

i have the same sort of usb bluetooth, mine was plug and play with windows 10 -

2 setup plug in the usb bluetooth

turn off any bluetooth device the airpods are currently connecting 2

run a bluetoth scan to find them

once connected just set as defualt device and communication device in sound settings
