I have  Dlink DIR-882 which has usb port 3.0 sharing. When i attach a 1tb external HDD, i can see the shared drive over wifi or ethernet. The problem being that only a few folders are shown at random. The mode of sharing is Upnp.

Is there a way i can share all of the drive?

Details:

HDD: Silicon Power 1tb

USB sharing enabled in router.

Unable to access via SMB/Ftp etc.

Do you know why is that?

Maybe you need to check your OS sharing options.

It's really werid that you can't use Samba or FTP. It's simple to use.

I have enabled all possible options and i can see the entire drive just fine on my PC. the main problem is viewing it on andriod specially KODI/VLC.
