1080 Driver Question

So i have an Inno 3D 1080 graphics card currently running on driver version 398.36 and everything is perfect and well.

 

As soon as i upgrade to any of the 400 version drivers i get all sorts of issues, the main one being that if my PC goes into standby when it attempts to come out the driver will not re initilize the DP so monitors wont switch back on and i have to manually restart PC using the reset button.

 

I have read on the net that loads of people are having all sorts of problems also on the 400x drivers as well as me but what im wondering is if anyone has found a stable version that works for them or know how to fix some of the issues within the drivers itself.

I don't know about the driver quality but if the newest drivers don't work just roll back to some slightly older ones and try the new ones when thy come out. Drivers are weird I've had some stupid issues too that cost me entire GPUs  .If the older drivers work just don't touch anything and enjoy your 1080 ?

One is on 417.71 the other is 417.35. No issues with either rig.
