I mean, it might be possible to add in RGB LEDs, but I don't think you'll be able to control them.

You're better off just buying a new keyboard or a new PCB if you want RGB.

Not necessarily. You can buy hotswap PCBs where all you'll have to do is push the switches into it like LEGO, but it's cheaper to buy a non-hotswap one.

If you don't get one with hotswap sockets, you might have to solder in your own LEDs.

If you want an ISO layout, you probably won't find a hot swappable one.

80% is not the same as a 60%. 80% has the function row and nav cluster.

Look for 65% boards, as they tend to have arrow keys.

For black switches, either get retooled Cherrys (ie from sites that specify that they are retooled), or just avoid Cherrys, and get any decent switch. Gaterons and Kailh box and Pro switches are smoother.

:)

i am looing for smaller keybaords with arrow keys and black switches, also RGB, love that rgb.

hi, i was thinking of buying a Varmilo VA88M RGBK PBT White LED keyboard but i want RGB light, is it hard to get a keyboard circet board what does that and will i need any soldering?

Nice keyboard, btw.

I would go ahead and get a straight RGB keyboard, and just re fit your keycaps. Since it would be a risk to re solder the LED"s and possibly mess up the switches.

My favorite keyboard has to be the Ducky One 2 Mini, since it's a 60% and has RGB.

Why not build a gk64 keyboard, gk64 is a hotswap 60% pcb that has arrow keys and rgb. You could also wait or the 2nd round of the Ramaworks koyu which is a 65% keyboard with arrow keys.

i could build yes, but it would cost a lot of cash since i live in Norway, need to pay 25% extra of the orignal price and shipping from America or China, and both country are on the different side of the planet, i cry mostly every day because of this.
