Replacing motherboard/cpu

I plan on replacing my motherboard, CPU, and Ram. I know I need to make sure they are all compatible with each other, but can I just swap them out and go? Or do I need to do something with my OS?

I am planning on keeping all my drives and other hardware

Windows 10 is Hardware locked per Motherboard. As long as you replace it with the new motherboard and cpu, it should then attach the key to the new motherboard. A fresh install is always reccomended, causes less issues in the long run
