I came across this graphics and after looking at it I noticed a few caps* were damaged but no burn markings. Are these important to have fixed before I plug it in to see if it works. the card is the kepler gtx titan.

I would wager that seeing damaged resistors is the reason it doesn't work, and on top of that, putting it in your PC to see if it works would do nothing because yeah, it's not working, and unless you know how to replace the resistors, then I'm not sure anything would be different. But if you just want to see if he was wrong about it not working, then I don't see what bad could happen, it didn't blow up in his PC so it shouldn't in yours.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Would it be a cheap fix though?

If you're really good at soldering, yes.

I’d find someone local. For the price nvidia would charge if they were capable of fixing it, you could just buy another one.

just put the GPU into my pc and i get white lines and gpuz can not read memory from it though its at about 4000MB usage on a 1080p screen using resolution of 1024x768 so the graphics card does work and taking screen shots they do not have the artifacting issue. white lines that make columns with white lines through them. like this image i found on google xD

I checked GPUz and it would not say how much memory, texture fillrate, bus width or bandwidth there was. the chips from the bios said there were of 10  entries of memory support both hynix and samsung all all but 2 were 2 Gbit x 16 and the other 2 were 1 Gbit x 16. not sure myself if that is all of the chips being registered or just what was recorded in bios.

those seems a like bad bodge. but for real tho, titan is at best 1060ti performance on some games. i wont get this card just for the catchy name.

What stats are you going off of for that? Doesn't seem right or even close.

It is right.  780 Ti, depending on the game, goes from RX 570 to GTX 1070 performance.

A 780 and 780ti aren’t the same performance. Thus a Titan isn’t gonna be the same as a 780ti.

780 Ti and OG Titan are interchangeable performance wise.  Both hit roughly the same clocks and there are minimal differences between the active units on the chips.

The Titan Black would be compatible to the 780ti being the same. Locked and unlocked aren’t that close. Maybe in era concurrent games.

Its one compute cluster and one ROP cluster.  With equal clocks the performance difference is less than 5%.  And the extra VRAM will tilt things in the Titans favor on top of that.

Ok, so what’s games does a regular Titan keep up with a 1060?

780 Ti, GTA V and F1 2018.

The OG Titan with an OC is generally going to be very close to the 780 Ti in performance because they both hit the same clocks.

The GK110 cards all tend to OC a massive amount compared to modern cards.  20% is average, 30% is doable in some cases, and you actually get a 20-30% performance increase.
