Thinking about using eeprom programming clip to attach to my motherboards bios chip since the updated bios software i got from MSI site for my laptop has my screen blacked out. I dont understand why its not working correctly but im tired of my pc not working even though its creepin up on 4yrs of lots of play and extended monitor action. This bad boy has been holding it down and i dont want to give it up anytime soon. I plan on upgrading the GPUs when i get the chance too. What are your experiences with flashing the bios with this direct clip type connection that burns the software directly to the bios chip?

MSI GT80 TITAN SLI

MOTHERBOARD: MS-1812

i7core 4th gen

2x Nvidia 965m

Bought in 2015

p.s. i prior to downloading updated bios i had issues with gpus and eventually pc just didnt reconize both of them, only left with on board trash graphics. Need to Game!!! Havent flashed a bios since IT Tech school back in 2012. So not as experienced in bios reflashing as i am in other things IT but know enough to hold my own.

Attachment is an example of what the tool looks like. Not sure which one to get, or if it will work with my pc. All questions and comments or advice will be well appreciated.
