wireless receivers Logitech Wireless USB Receivers

I am getting tired of switching my USB Wireless Receiver from my laptop to my computer and so on. I called Logitech and asked if they had another USB wireless receiver that I could buy that the wireless and keyboard that I have now would work on, they said no. The tech said that the only one that would work would be the one that the USB wireless keyboard came with when I bought it new. So I suggested that they should sell 2-USB wireless receivers with every purchase. So this way you would not have to keep switching the wireless receiver all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions for this problem?

I mean, 2-USBs would just be extra for most people. Thanks Gegger, I will look into this keyboard and mouse set. I am wondering though if I use my TV for a monitor and I am sitting 15 to 20 feet away from the TV, how well this Keyboard and mouse work, but I will do my part and call ask Logitech some questions. I guess I just felt that if I had 2-USB receivers, I could just plug them in to my laptop and my mini-computer hooked up to my 65 inch TV, and never have to remove them, but thanks for the information.

there are 2 factors here that i'm aware of from all the Logitech crap my company uses...

Some of their devices include a usb dongle that is factory paired with the included keyboard or mouse and they don't offer any way to re-pair anything with the dongle, or repair the device with a new dongle.

Some of their devices include a dongle that has an orange kind of pirate ship steering wheel shape printed on it which means it can be paired to other/multiple devices (usb dongles can have several keyboards/mice paired to them at once. I don't think the keyboards or mice can be paired to multiple dongles at once though).

Moreover, a handful of their wireless peripherals have bluetooth, which I believe can store several host devices in memory which would allow you to move between 2 computers - as long as it can't communicate with both at the same time ever.
