Google pixel 2 XL

Hi,

I just bought the Google pixel 2 XL, and after I started to set it up, I found that it has a Verizon sim in it. I tried to use the sim in my old phone and it said, "The activation has failed, please try again".

 

Did that happen to anyone else?
