Jump to content

take out your old hard drive, put in the new hard drive and boot up windows with a bootable flash drive. Load windows and update! :)

make a new partition on your current drive

move everything onto that partition

only clone the partitions that windows needs to boot

 

this is what i would try if i ever had that problem. running programs should be the same if you make new desktop shortcuts with the new locations of the program files.
