When listening for long periods of time, the speaker legitimately shocks my ears. It also sometimes makes noises that sound like a record skipping every once in a while. I RRREEEAEAAALLLLYYYYY hope that I dont have to RMA, but if I have to I will. What is the issue? I use the 3.5mm jack from my Yeti to listen to stuff.

you mean, like a static that shocks you?

Half that feeling, put it on your ear, and prolong it for 30 seconds. Thats how its like. Its very uncomfortable.

If it acutally shocks your ears there must be a wire or a piece of metal that touch your ears. On my DT990 there are no metal parts inside the cups (that is without some kind of isolation and could potentially shock me). And I doubt it's static shock, because that will discharge itself to your ear in a split second, not 30 secs.

Everything I post is based of bits and pieces I've read somewhere else.

I have most likely never tested any of the things I recommend or advise against.

Think of me as a information relay, I read it, process it, then post it.
