this is the case that i own and as many people know it's bad at cooling because it lacks air holes so the system suffocates. But i had this idea to maybe dremel or somehow cut a kinda big opening in the front panel right on front of it. I can't do the sides because there is the tabs that are attached to it. No i'm not gonna buy a diff case because idk what to do with this then and i already done some mods with this and i don't have enough space for it to be stored. After i've made a big hole i would put that dust filter mesh stuff and the holes would be like this.... i haven't used any types of forums ever so i'm new to this so i'm srry if i did something wrong but tell me if it's worth it or what i should do

You posted images of two cases - which one do you have? I'm guessing the bottom?

Is the front of the case made of glass or acrylic? If it's glass, you can't really do anything. You may be able to work with the acrylic.

If it's acrylic, I'd recommend making some sort of jig to you can fix any mistakes and make adjustments before cutting into the case. Ideally, you'd also want to use a hole deburring tool (A countersink tool like this would be best) to clean up the holes afterward, but it's not really necessary - you can go in with a file.

Overall, I can't really recommend you doing this. It's not easy to make it look nice and without touching the material myself, I can't know if it'll crack.

Originally, I read as if you were trying to drill many small holes to make a mesh (hence the sections struck through). While cutting a big hole is easier, it's still not easy. Just make sure you are confident that you want to do it before you cut into your case.

Hey man! Yes the case on the bottom is mine and the material is acrylic and i was thinking of cutting a big section of it not just holes and make the section look like the case above and add a mesh dust filter but idk if a dremel would be a good idea or something else maybe like a jig saw with very small teeth
