AT2020 shockmount

Hi guys,

 

Can you guys help me with saying if this shockmount will fit the AT2020?

Cause the people from the shop couldnt say it a 100%...

I believe the AT2020 needs to have a 50mm capable shockmount, i'm not sure if that's the case with that mount, but i'm pretty sure the mic fits in almost any decent shockmount as it's a really common size.

Also do you really need a shockmount/popfilter? I myself have an AT2020 and haven't yet found a reason to buy either of those as my AT2020 doesn't make any pop sounds neither shocks, but that could also depend on the desk/boom-arm.

 

It has a 1 day delivery time and 30/60 day return policy, so I would just buy it to try and return if it doesn't work. If you haven't yet tested the AT2020, I would recommend trying it out first without shockmount/popfilter.

 

"Devine" is a house brand of bax-music, so I doubt anyone here is familiar with the brand unless you're dutch and used the website, as it's not an international brand or a brand sold by other dutch retailers.
