Router for VPN

Hi

 

I'm looking for some (not very expensive) router to conrigure PIA on it which can be also acces point as won't set up VPN router next to ISP router/modem. I'm not fussed about speed as long it'll be able to get 50mbs on UK Virgin 300mbs line.

 

Any sugestion will be very appriciated

Any router capable of running OpenWRT, DD-WRT, or another custom firmware variant such as AdvancedTomato have built-in VPN settings that allow you to configure all connections through the router to go straight to a compatible VPN, as long as said VPN supports such a setup. Ibought TP Link TL-MR3020 installed DD-WRT but it don't have open VPN option and PPTP method doesn't work.

I have Asus RT-AC68U and Surfshark set up on it, this router supports OpenVPN and  PPTP.
