Computer won't boot :-(

Alright, so I came home to my computer which I had left sleeping but it wouldn't respond to any of my inputs with my peripherals. The power button wouldn't even work. So I turned off my powers supply and then turned it back on in hopes of me being able to turn it back on. But surprise surprise it refuses. All the lights on the fans and my fan controller turn on but turn off after a split second. I have done the usual taking out of the cmos battery but no luck. If this situation has ever happened to you guys or you know a possible fix please help.
