win8.1 iso?

Hey guys,

 

Im running win8.1 atm on my laptop and im upgrading it to an SSD from hhd tomorrow.

I'm planning on doing a clean install rather than migrating my files (only some music and stuff really needed), does anyone know where i can get a 8.1 iso from?

You should just try and use a transfer software to throw it on the ssd I think a  lot of them come with the software.

Yeah i know i SHOULD. but i dont necessarily want to, I'd prefer to have it clean completely, especially since im downgrading from a 700gb hhd to a 120gb ssd. I'm going to go buy an enclosure case so i can format the hhd and use it purely as a storage device.

Yeah I think it does that but it also downloads the iso, this is a tutorial I found

I think it is easier to install Windows 8 and then upgrade to 8.1 in the Windows Store.

You can actually use keys you find on the Internet for the 8.1 install. They keys let you install it, but you still activate it afterwards using your legit Windows 8 key.
