G-Sync and KVM

Hello all of you :D

Today i have a Gaming pc and a HTPC and a KVM between them and its working awesome :D

But i will like to have a G-Sync monitor and i know i need to use displayport 1.2. But if i get a KVM with displayport 1.2 will g-sync work through that KVM or will G-sync never work with a KVM?

 

Or will they make a KVM that will work with G-sync?

I cannot find anything and the internet so i hope some of you know the answer to this :)

KVM with just desplayport will not work? it will need to be 1.2?
