How do i setup my headset?

So i have the hyperX cloud stingers amd used them for my ps4 but now that I want to use them on my pc I can't figure out how to use them. So I've been trying for a while, and I've tried out the headset and know that it works. It comes with one audio jack but if i plug it into the mic audio jack it outputs the audio to my monitor and i dont have the option to use my headset. Then when i plug it into the headphones audio jack it doesnt register my mic. It comes with a splitter 2 male adapter and one female. But when i use them on my front pannel jacks the spumd doesnt work and my mobo only has a mic audio jack at the back so the cable cant reach, i dont know if this is just my problem but if anyone could help it would be very much appreciated.
