Hi guys, kinda new here and planning to build my first rig. I already bought parts piece per piece for the past 6 months and already bought a motherboard which is the B360M Aorus Gaming 3. I was planning back then to partner it up with a 8600k i5 but now since the 9th gen i5s are here i just wanna ask if the motherboard will be compatible with a i5 9600k since when searching on the internet it is said that it is compatible according to this article https://www.anandtech.com/show/13167/gigabyte-adds-support-for-intels-9th-gen-processors-to-existing-motherboards but when checking on the gigabyte website it does not tell if its compatible or not. wish you guys can solve this with me. Thank you in advance.

It supports it, but you may need a BIOS update before the board can recognise the 9th gen CPU.

It's compatible. you won't be able to overclock it though.
