External gpu through ngff

So hi, I have a msi gl62 7rdx, It has a gtx 1050 4gb, I just wanted to boost its performance in games, I thought of an egpu using the nvme 4x slot, in Linus's video, it does not work. But, there is also a ngff port where the wifi card is attached, can anyone tell me that the exp gdc beast v8.0 ngff version work with my laptop with a rtx 2080.
