Single channel RAM question

Go to solution Solved by The_Stig,

It'll help, but it shouldnt make any dramatic increases in performance. If it's running in single channel it's either because they're installed in adjacent slots or somethings weird in the BIOS.

I have this issue where if I try to run in Dual channel mode but my mobo keeps giving an error on post then shuts down and the process repeats
