Good evening,

I’m looking to build a new pc to be the ultimate gaming rig(at least to me). I’m currently rocking a haswell i5 4670k-8gigs of ram and gigabyte 770 2gb card which is all showing age. It also has a noctua aircooler believe it’s the 14.(Should I keep it and repurpose?). It has a Sandown extreme 250gb ssd and 1-2tb WD black and a 500gb wd black. The 2tb wd black isn’t as old maybe 4-5 years old the other two storage are 6 years old.

New build will require(it’s a want) a monitor 1440p 144hz refresh. Other than that mouse and keyboard I already have. Budget is $2500 USD.

Located in the USA. New England area. I am about an hour an a half from Microcenter. Not sure If it would be worth to buy from there as the state I’m in has no sales tax.

Not opposed to buying online or in stores.

Looking at building something with a 2080 and will need new hard drive and boot drive. I’ve played around with a few builds. Would like midatx or micro atx system and preferably an i7 9700k. (Overkill I’m sure but yolo).

Any suggestions or alterations to what I’ve already put together on pcpartpicker?

I wouldn't go mini ITX with a processor like that. Show it off, don't hide it.

PC - i7 12700K | EVGA FTW3 3090 | Corsair H150i | ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A | 32GB Corsair Vengance | Lian Li O11 Evo & EVGA 1k PSU

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
