what next ?

should i bother upgrading the CPU and GPU further and ram or just get a new generation core i processor and a new gpu /whole setup or do you think my gpu performance would improve if i just got a 1060 or 1080 lol not sure if i should invest in my setup i have its tested and works well just needs a bit more power for modern games currently at a evga gtx 660 sc 2gb would a 1060 be any better my buss is only a 2.0 slot x16 i know i am not getting the performance max i could with a 3.0 slot should i honestly just get a new mother board cpu and gpu and build a new setup
